QA/TEST ENGINEER (MANUAL & AUTOMATION)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA/Test Engineer to join our software
quality assurance team. The role involves designing and executing test plans, performing
manual and automated testing, and ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile
applications.

Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts.
  2. Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  3. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  4. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure
    test coverage.
  5. Use automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, JUnit, or TestNG to streamline QA
    processes.
  6. Maintain test documentation, test reports, and dashboards.
  7. Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies as part of the QA team.

Required Skills

  1. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
  2. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Postman, or JMeter.
  3. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation.
  4. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
  5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  6. Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
ISTQB or similar QA certifications are a plus.

Salary Range (According to UAE Market)

Fresher (0–1 year): AED 4,500 – 7,500/month
Experienced (3–5 years): AED 9,000 – 15,000/month
